It's a city of endless opportunities, a haven for those who've left their homes and villages for better gigs in the big city. It's also the land of Bollywood dreams, and once you visit Mumbai, you can't help but fall in love with it.

 

Mumbai's street food scene is all about the people who call it home. Every nook and cranny has its own set of favorite street food joints. They're not just feeding the working crowd but also the college kids, the shoppers, and everyone in between.

 

Get ready for a vegetarian dinner experience like no other, a guided tour featuring Mumbai's street food legends. We've got comfort foods, playful flavor bombs, and indulgent treats – buttery, spicy, sweet – you name it! Join us for a vegetarian culinary ride through the heart and soul of Mumbai's street food scene. Get ready for a two-hour taste explosion led by our guest chef Sirisha Bhandaru. Here's what to expect on this special evening (all menu items are meat-free):

 


Sirisha Bhandaru will be our guest chef tonight. Sirisha grew up in Andhra Pradesh and in Mumbai, India but spent many summers with her grandmother, who taught her how to cook authentic dishes from scratch using homegrown ingredients. As she grew older and her family moved to different regions of India for her father’s work, she was exposed to the unique range of regional Indian cuisines. Sirisha has been a longtime local food enthusiast and uses Central Illinois ingredients to inspire her recipe development. Since 2016, Sirisha has taught dozens of cooking classes featuring regional Indian cuisines. Sirisha also manages her popular Instagram food blog page @mycravesandraves, known for food styling, photography, food storytelling, and recipes.

 

Note: All of our pop-up events are all-inclusive prix fixe dinners. This means you get a multi-course dinner complete with wine and other beverage pairings all evening long for one fixed price. Unlike at restaurants, all taxes and tip are included as well.
