Conquer Mount Kilimanjaro
Africa's highest peak awaits your footsteps
The Kilimanjaro Experience
Standing at 5,895 meters (19,341 feet), Mount Kilimanjaro is not only Africa's highest peak but also the world's tallest free-standing mountain. Unlike other major summits, Kilimanjaro doesn't require technical climbing skills, making it accessible to determined hikers with good fitness levels and proper preparation.
The journey to the "Roof of Africa" takes you through five distinct ecological zones: cultivated farmland, lush rainforest, alpine heath, high desert, and finally the arctic summit. Each zone offers unique landscapes, flora, and fauna, creating an unforgettable trekking experience.
Best Time to Climb
While Kilimanjaro can be climbed year-round, the best periods are January-March and June-October when conditions are drier and views clearer. Avoid the heavy rainy seasons of April-May and November.
Duration
Most routes take 5-9 days to complete. Longer itineraries offer better acclimatization, significantly increasing summit success rates and reducing altitude sickness risks.
Climate & Conditions
Temperatures range dramatically from 25°C (77°F) at the base to -20°C (-4°F) at the summit. Be prepared for all weather conditions, including rain, wind, and potentially snow at higher elevations.
Support Team
Every climb includes experienced guides, porters, and cooks who ensure your safety, carry equipment, prepare meals, and provide encouragement throughout your journey.
